As a regularly reader of Glenn’s GISUser weblog I have just found his article A nice, auto-generated OGC WMS Server List. Everytime it is interesting even gratifying that the biggest list of freely available Web Map Services (OGC WMS Server List) is mentioned by more and more GIS professionals all over the world. Nearly 1,000 servers with about 340,000 layers each presenting different information on a specific country, state, destrict or just a city, you indeed have the choice to get almost every GIS data for free!
But if they would know what is coming to come within the next months, they would definitely freak out!
